What Is VASER 360 Liposuction with BBL
VASER 360 liposuction with BBL is a combined body-contouring procedure. VASER is an ultrasound-assisted liposuction system used to assist with fat separation before removal. The ‘360’ component refers to selected areas around the torso rather than a single isolated area.
During the same surgical plan, suitable harvested fat is prepared and transferred to selected areas of the buttocks or hip dips. This is called gluteal fat grafting or a Brazilian Butt Lift. No buttock implant is used.
The procedure addresses two different goals: reducing and contouring selected donor areas, and adding conservative volume or improving proportion in the receiving areas. The surgeon determines whether the available fat is suitable for transfer and how much can be used.

VASER 360 liposuction with BBL combines torso contouring and gluteal fat grafting in one surgical plan. Each stage has a different purpose.
Step 1. VASER 360 Liposuction
VASER-assisted liposuction removes fat from selected donor areas around the torso, which may include the abdomen, waist, flanks and selected back areas. The term ‘360’ refers to contouring agreed areas around the torso.
Step 2. Fat Preparation
The harvested fat is processed and prepared so that suitable fat can be used for transfer.
Step 3. BBL Fat Transfer
The prepared fat is carefully transferred to the agreed areas of the buttocks or hip dips to add volume and improve shape and contour.

How Long Should I Stay in Vietnam
Allow approximately 12–14 days in Vietnam for VASER 360 liposuction with BBL. A longer stay may be required for more extensive surgery, combined procedures, slower recovery or additional medical review.

Recovery After VASER 360 Liposuction with BBL
Recovery involves both the liposuction donor areas and the fat-transfer areas. Swelling, bruising, tenderness, temporary numbness and fluid leakage from small liposuction incisions can occur during early recovery.Compression garments, binders and foam boards are commonly worn for 6 weeks during recovery.
As a general guide:
- First 1–2 weeks: Rest and gentle walking are encouraged. Movement may be limited, and some assistance with daily activities may be needed. Compression garments are generally worn as instructed.
- Around 2–4 weeks: Mobility usually improves, but heavy lifting and strenuous activity remain restricted. Light daily activities can gradually increase as tolerated.
- Around 4–6 weeks: Many clients can gradually return to normal daily activities. Exercise can be progressively reintroduced once cleared by the surgeon.
- 6 weeks and beyond: A gradual return to structured and higher-impact exercise may be possible once medically cleared by the surgeon.

Are there risks with VASER 360 + BBL?
Yes. As with any surgery, there are risks such as bleeding, infection, fluid collection, scarring, asymmetry, contour irregularities and anaesthetic complications. Fat transfer to the buttocks also carries a specific risk of fat embolism, which can occur if fat enters a blood vessel and travels to the lungs or other organs. Your surgeon will discuss the specific risks and safety measures with you before surgery.
Is VASER 360 + BBL a weight-loss procedure?
No. It is a body contouring procedure designed to remove localised fat and enhance body shape. It is not a weight-loss treatment.
Do I need enough body fat for a BBL?
Yes. You need enough suitable donor fat for transfer. Clients with a leaner body may not be suitable or may only achieve a limited increase in volume.
Will all the fat removed during liposuction be transferred?
No. Only suitable fat can be used for transfer, and not all transferred fat will survive. The final retained volume can vary between individuals.
Can the surgeon guarantee the final result or volume?
No. Final volume cannot be guaranteed, and some asymmetry may remain after surgery.
Will VASER 360 remove loose skin?
No. Liposuction removes fat but does not remove significant excess skin or repair separated abdominal muscles. A tummy tuck may be considered when loose skin or muscle separation is a major concern.
Will my skin tighten after liposuction?
Some skin tightening may occur, but the amount varies depending on factors such as skin quality, age, anatomy and individual healing.
Can my results change over time?
Yes. Weight changes, pregnancy and natural ageing can affect your results.
Will I need more than one procedure?
